Luckily JoAnns had a 25% off total purchase so I ventured in to see if anything was worth buying. I found this fabric on red tag and 50% off. This skit cost me approximately $7.50 compared to the $20+ sold in stores! It was SO simple to make as well. I laid a skirt that i already have that i like how it fits on top to help guide me how to cut the top. Then I measured my waist, and made a waist band. Length was 1/2 my waist measurement, and width was 10 inches. I folded the waist band in half and surged it to the top of my skirt after surging up the sides.

ReplyDeleteMaxi skirts are my new obsession! I've made like a dozen, they are so cute and easy. Plus its so much more comfy and you don't have to shave your legs!
