I was so excited to go to my friend Tiffany's Baby Shower. We both worked together
for a million and two years at Seagull Book.
I was excited to make something special for her
and crafty too since she is a crafty lady herself.
I got a good deal on the onsie and couldn't wait to put my new cute fabric to some use.
I found a tutorial and it seemed easy enough...
until i didn't have any elastic.
So then I just made it up.
I added a ruffle to a decently long piece of fabric that I thought
would ruffle around the onsie perfectly.
I did a double hem just for looks.
Then I gathered the long piece of fabric and pinned around the onsie
and sewed it right on.
I thought it turned out super cute!
I had an extra flower hair pin I had made a while back and put that
on as well since it matched the cute little pink flowers
in the ruffle. I also had one more pair
of socks that I crocheted around which went perfectly with the outfit.
I love making baby gifts.
Thanks for having babies so I can have fun making cute things for them!
